There are about 20 models of maxi scooters with power ratings of over 25 kW.

Petrol or electric?

• Advantages of electric scooters: Quiet, no exhaust fumes, low effort for service, low operating costs. Disadvantages: Range, battery needs frequent recharging.
  
• Advantages petrol scooters: are also suitable for continuous use. They are suitable for both leisure and passenger transport.
  

Classification of the scooters

• Small scooters with max. 50 ccm cubic capacity and max. 4 kW power, from 15 years of age
  
• Scooters with up to 125 cc engine capacity and max. 11 kw/15 hp power, from 16 years of age
  
• Scooters with more than 125 cc displacement and up to 35 kW power, from 18 years of age
  
• Maxi scooters with an engine capacity of more than 250 cc and maximum power up to 56 kW (76 hp)
